A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of diffrent herbicides on weeds and garlic in a randomized complete-block design with 12 treatments and three replications, at Siahdasht, Farooj, Khorasan, Iran. Treatments were included rates of 4, 8, 12 and 16 kg.ha-1 Chlorthal-dimethyl (Dacthal), rates of 0.75, 1.5, 3 and 5 lit.ha-1 Oxyfluorfen (Goal), rates of 1, 2, 3 and 6 lit.ha-1 Ioxynil (Totril), and a plot which was hand weeded at the beginning of growing season.
